Barlborough Primary School is situated in the historic village of Barlborough, near Chesterfield in Derbyshire. The school provides education to children aged 4 to 11, typically with a roll of between 190 and 200 pupils. The school is known for its warm and inclusive atmosphere, where children thrive both academically and socially. The school aims to be at the heart of the local community and has a strong Parent Teacher Association which provides even closer links between the school and community. The school serves a close-knit community, with most children living locally. However, we also draw intake from the wider area of Bolsover. There has been a school on the site since 1870, serving the local community. We are incredibly proud of our history, but equally excited about where we are going next!
